This is the moving moment when Coast Guard men rescue a one-month-old baby from Hurricane Rai in the Philippines.
As seen in the shocking video taken on December 16 in the city of Cagayan de Oro, the two heroic men hold a plastic basin in the flooded street, which has a one-month-old baby inside.
Coast Guard men protected the baby with an umbrella and wrapped it in a blanket to protect it from the cold and rain, with the storm causing widespread flooding.
Rescuers took the baby to a nearby evacuation center, where they gave it to his parents.
Now they are all safe, having found refuge from the hurricane that seems to be getting worse.
According to a spokesman for the rescue service, the baby was rescued as the water reached its highest point.
"Using a plastic basin and an umbrella, the baby was wrapped in a blanket to protect itself from the rain, with Coast Guard men pushing the makeshift lifeboat into the muddy water."
It is worth noting that the National Meteorological Service of the country expects heavy rains to continue at least until Friday.
The video with the rescue of the baby was uploaded on social media, with users on social networks expressing their condolences for the baby who is in good health and who has been reunited with his family.
