The Kurdish administration in northern Syria says 785 foreigners linked to the Islamic State have escaped from a camp where they were being held, following bombardment by Turkish military forces.
Referring to the Turkish-backed Syrian rebels, the Kurdish administration said in a statement that "mercenaries" had attacked the guard of the camp where "Islamic State elements" were being held and opened the gates.
