What the Pope said about COVID19 vaccines and anti-vaccines (BINTEO)

Since August, Pope Francis has made a strong appeal to people to be vaccinated with approved vaccines Covid-19, calling it the "act of love." Francis, who has been vaccinated against COVID, has often urged others to be vaccinated for the common good.

In a related video created in collaboration with the Ad Council, Pope Francis praised the work of researchers and scientists in producing safe and effective vaccines Covid-19. "Thanks to God and the work of many, we now have vaccines to protect us from Covid-19", he said.

He added that vaccines "bring hope to end the pandemic, but only if they are available to everyone and if we work together."

Pope Francis has said in the past that he does not understand why people refuse to be vaccinated against him. COVID-19, saying that "humanity has a history of friendship with vaccines" and that the peaceful discussion about vaccines is necessary to help them.

"Even at Cardinal College, there are some deniers," he said. He noted that one of them, the "poor", had been hospitalized with the virus. This was an obvious reference to US Cardinal Raymond Burke, who was hospitalized in the US and placed on a ventilator after contracting the virus.

Francis also mentioned the fact that anti-vaccines have vaccines to be thankful for that they no longer have to worry about things like polio. "It's a little strange, because humanity has a history of friendship with vaccines," said Francis, noting that for decades, children have been vaccinated against measles, mumps and polio, "and no one said anything."

He assumed that the "contagiousness of the uncertainty" was due to the diversity of vaccines for COVID-19, the quick approval time and the plethora of "arguments that created this division" and the fear.

Francis noted that the Vatican had vaccinated residents, staff and their families "with the exception of a very small group" and "they are studying how to help them". For those who are still afraid, he said: "They need to clear it up and speak calmly."

The Vatican has previously said it is "morally acceptable" for Catholics to be vaccinated against COVID-19, including those based on research derived from cell abortions. Last January, the pope said not taking vaccines that are known to be safe and effective is "suicidal denial." However, he did not name any vaccines.
