Rapper Dr Creep's 2013 song went viral on TikTok because of lyrics that listeners claim "predicted" her pandemic Covid-19.
The song "Pandemic" has references to a "coronavirus" of the year 2020.
However, the artist himself has previously explained that this is a strange coincidence.
When he first wrote the lyrics that correlate 2020 with coronavirus, there were already many coronaviruses and one type of virus was then prevalent in press releases.
In a post on Facebook last year, the rapper clarified:
"In terms of reference to 2020, 2020-2030 is very important to me, as well as to many other people who have studied internal issues. It was said 10 years ago that 2012 does not inspire concern that we should pay attention to 2020-30 ".
For me, the lyrics are just a coincidence rather than a prediction, as I do not feel that I was 'trying' to predict something, I was just making a verse for what I was watching. But call it prediction, simple coincidence, stupid luck, remote projection, forecasting or whatever. "
A coronavirus is a member of a virus family, which includes Sars and Mers.
Dr. Creep continued:
"I am not the only one who mentioned the cursed coronavirus in 2013 !!!!".
"No, I'm not making predictions and no, I'm not a screenwriter for The Simpsons. But, I have studied documents and listened to "experts" and "informants" in lectures and interviews for over ten years and some things are added and lyrics come out of it. It is not a prediction " he mentioned.
However, excerpts from the American rapper's song went viral on TikTok recently, with social media users saying they were surprised by the coincidence.
