Twitter Inc announced today that it will no longer allow the posting of photos and videos on its platform without the consent of the person depicted in them.

Based on the personal data policy followed by the company, it is forbidden to disclose information such as telephone numbers, addresses and identities of other persons.

"When we are informed by the persons depicted or by their representatives that they did not consent to the sharing of their photos or videos, we will remove them," he said on his Twitter blog.
