The trial of a Russian woman took an unexpected turn because she stabbed her boyfriend 13 times as the victim of the attack, who goes by the name of Sakur, proposed to her in court.

Although, according to the Nizhnekamsk city prosecutor, Sakur saved his life only because he managed to escape, the young man surprised everyone when he not only proposed marriage but asked the judge not to send his girlfriend to prison. .

The perpetrator claimed that she did not intend to kill Sakur, adding that she was drunk during the incident, the causes of which have not yet been clarified.

Sakur, who was hospitalized for three weeks, told judges he was plotting with the woman who stabbed him 13 times on their wedding date.

Russian media report that the judge postponed the announcement of his decision to the next hearing.

The prosecutor for his part demanded the imprisonment of Sakur's girlfriend for six years for the deliberate attack that endangered the life of the young Russian
