Donald Trump announced a while ago on Truth Social that the ceasefire between Israel and Iran is in effect from now on.
"Please, don't violate it," the American president wrote characteristically in his post on his personal account.
So far, neither Iran nor Israel have officially confirmed the deal announced earlier by Trump to end the conflict that has killed hundreds of people in Iran and at least 24 in Israel. The American leader had said the ceasefire would be a gradual 24-hour process that would begin with Iran unilaterally halting all operations. Israel would follow suit 12 hours later.
A short while ago, the Iranian television network Press TV reported that the ceasefire had begun. On the other hand, there has been no comment regarding the ceasefire from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
