A woman from Los Angeles is accused of killing her three children in a court battle with their father for custody.
Liliana Carrillo, 30, was to leave her children with her ex on Sunday. But the day before, the children were found slaughtered inside the apartment, the devastated father Erik Denton told the Los Angeles Times.
Denton revealed that he was claiming custody of the children, aged 3 years, 2 years and 6 months, when Carrillo started behaving strangely.
Today at about 9:30 AM, West Valley Patrol Officers responded to the 8000 block of Reseda Blvd for a radio call involving a possible death at one of the apartments. The officers went inside an apartment and discovered 3 children at the scene.

"Liliana was very ill, she was not herself, she had not been well for many months," Denton's cousin Teri Miller told KTTV.
She revealed that the father had contacted the police and the social services of the state several times, as he was very worried about the mental state of his ex. He told everyone that Carrillo "needed help".
Court documents, cited by the Los Angeles Times, show that Denton tried to take custody of the two girls and the boy on March 1. He also sought Carrillo's psychiatric expertise.
She, in response, applied on March 12 for precautionary measures against him, on the basis of domestic violence.
The hearing of his own claim was scheduled for April 14. Neighbors said the children lived mainly with their grandmother and she was the one who discovered the bodies.
Carrillo was arrested a few hours after the crime, trying to escape. She abandoned her vehicle and boarded a passing car at gunpoint.
