Entitled "Handbags Online: The London Edit", the offers have started and will be submitted until November 23, with bags, luggage and accessories available for sale. Among the most important exhibits are bags, in a variety of colors, from the French luxury goods company Hermes, known for its bags, with prices of more than 10.000 dollars, Birkin and Kelly.
Among the top exhibits are the Hermes Birkin 20 Matte Beton Alligator, White Togo and Swift Leather Faubourg Sellier bags. The price of the latter, which was released this year in limited numbers, is estimated at over 107.000 to over 134.000 dollars.
"It is very unusual to see so many bags at the same time, because obviously whenever you go to the store, you will not be able to see so many models and colors," Lucille Andreani, head of bag and accessories sales at Christie`s, told Reuters. .
"We have about 200 bags… items starting at just over $ 100 and can exceed $ 100.000, so we are talking about a very wide range. "Most of our customers use the bags because they are made to be used," said Andreani, adding that the buyers are mostly private collectors.
