The President of the United States Joe Biden characterized him Vladimir Putin as a murderous dictator and criminal, on the occasion of war in Ukraine.
At a luncheon at the Capitol for St. Patrick's Day, Biden telephoned Irish Prime Minister Michol Martin, and the US president said: "Now you have Ireland and Great Britain.They stand together against a murderous dictator, a pure criminal who is waging an immoral war against the people of Ukraine.
Ireland and the United States are working together. "For the first time, Ireland is a member of the United Nations Security Council."
The US President made these statements, a few hours after the statement that "Putin is a war criminal".
