His pledge to "continue to serve you to the best of my ability" will be King Charles' first public message since being diagnosed with cancer and beginning the treatments he has been undergoing for the past five weeks.
The message will be included in his Commonwealth Day speech and will be delivered at Westminster Abbey in front of 2.000 people who will be 'in attendance' at the event - including Queen Camilla and Prince William.
In his 615-word speech which has already been taped, King Charles will say, according to the Sun, that "having recently celebrated my 75th birthday, it warms my heart to think how the Commonwealth has been a constant throughout my life – a precious source of strength, inspiration and pride.”
"In the past weeks I have been touched by your thoughts and wishes for my health, and I for my part can continue to serve you to the best of my ability," the British king will add.
"I have no doubt that we will continue to support each other across the Commonwealth as we continue our journey together," King Charles will also say.
The message was taped last month at Windsor Castle with Charles reportedly aiming to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Samoa next October.
