With an entrance, tourists will now take their walks in the canals of Venice!
Venice authorities are to introduce an entrance fee to the city center to curb "hyper-tourism".
The measure was passed in an effort to limit visitors and promote a balance between the number of tourists in the city and the number of people living there.
It will start on January 6 next year and will cost up to 10 euros.
