The 52-year-old initially alerted the police, because he thought his car had been stolen
A driver, who had stopped for a while to satisfy his physical need, was surprised to find that his vehicle had disappeared, initially fearing that it had been stolen. In reality, however, the car had dived 150 meters!
The man, a 52-year-old Pole, had parked his vehicle in a parking lot near Ousefern, a Tyrol community in the Austrian Alps. However, the parking lot had a slight slope so the parking brake proved to be insufficient.
The 52-year-old alerted the police, as he thought that someone had stolen his car, however shortly after he was informed that his vehicle started moving on its own, as a result of which it ended up on the cliff, at a depth of 150 meters, after crossing the B179 road. Fortunately, no other passengers were in the vehicle and the road was empty when the events unfolded.
