A fire is underway near Heathrow Airport in London.
About 100 Firefighters are at the scene fighting to extinguish the fire, in order not to extend to the airport facilities.
The fire caused great disruption and changes to the air transport plan, as well it was deemed necessary to divert flights. In particular, pilots were asked to land on the northern runway and take off from the southern one, due to visibility problems caused by the smoke.
