Patients treated with COVID-19 in the United Kingdom are generally showing less severe symptoms than a long time ago, the British Minister for Vaccines announced today.

"Right now, if you look at the people who have been admitted to the hospital, they are being treated with less severe symptoms than before," UK Public Health and Vaccines Minister Maggie Thrup told Sky News.

"The number of patients is about half that of a year ago - and that shows the strength of the vaccine," she said.
