British security sources recently sent warnings to the Government of Beirut that Israel is going to launch an attack on Lebanon around mid-June, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Ahbar, which expresses positions of the Hezbollah organization, publishes in its today's paper.
At the same time, Al-Ahbar adds that "similar warnings have been expressed by diplomatic sources of other countries, noting that only British security sources place the time of the Israeli attack.
Last night, hundreds of acres of forest land and residential areas went up in flames in northern Israel, centered on the city of Kiryat Shmona and the Kfar Giladi kibbutz, as a result of successive rocket attacks by the Hemzpolah organization, causing fires that were amplified by the winds. The fires were brought under control in the early hours of the morning after a persistent battle with the flames.
Agents of the local government of the Israeli towns in the region emphasize with their statements to the Israeli media the need for "more active measures on the part of the army to deal with the attacks of the Lebanese Shiite organization".
