Cosa Nostra ancestor Toto Riina was buried this morning in the Sicilian village of Corleone, who died at a hospital in the city of Parma last Friday at the age of 87.
His funeral was held in a close family circle, as scheduled by the Italian authorities. Reina was buried next to the memorials of other Sicilian mafia bigots, such as Luciano Lizzio, Michele Navarra and Bernardo Provenzano.
Reina's daughter, Lucia, left Corleone Cemetery without answering reporters' questions. The ceremony was attended by the archinon's wife, Nineta Bagarella, her daughter Lucia and her brothers Santuzio and Conceta.
Toto Reina had been sentenced by an Italian court to twenty-six times for life as the mastermind of more than two hundred murders (he did not hesitate to order the killing of children) and never repented of his actions.
