Zelensky: Russia must realize that it will receive a harsh response

The Black Sea "humanitarian corridor" for grain exports from Ukrainian ports needs reliable and long-term means to remain open and the international community must give a "tough response" to any attempt by Russia to disrupt its operation, he said today. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

In a video message, Zelensky said commercial ships carrying grain were leaving Ukrainian ports thanks to efforts by the United Nations and Turkey to keep open the corridor established in the July 22 agreement.

"Russia must realize that it will receive a harsh response from the international community to any attempt to disrupt food exports. The lives of tens of millions of people are at stake," the president of Ukraine stressed.
