Announcement of the Ministry of Health on new cases of the disease COVID-19 for the week of February 10 – 16, 2023

The Ministry of Health announces that for the week of February 10 – 16, 2023:

- 4 deaths were announced
- Relate to:
 Male, aged 90, who passed away on 07/02/2023
 Woman, aged 77, who died on 12/02/2023
 Woman, aged 98, who died on 14/02/2023
 Male, aged 86, who passed away on 15/02/2023
- Total number of deaths with final cause of the disease COVID-19: 1.297.
- 48 patients COVID-19 are hospitalized in OKYPY hospitals
– 11 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/6 intubated,
MAF: 5)

Diagnostic examinations:
- A total of 64.876 diagnostic tests were performed
- 1.516 new cases were identified (total of 647.031 cases).
- Position rate in all exams 2,34%

Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 1.602 molecular tests were performed
- There were 79 positive incidents
- Position rate 4,93%
Total Rapid Test:
- 63.274 rapid antigen detection tests were performed
- There were 1.437 positive incidents
- Position rate 2,27%

(positivity rate 3,11%)
– 40.463 rapid antigen detection tests performed, identified

Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 22.811 tests were carried out
rapid antigen detection. 147 positive cases were identified.

– Sampling points: 16.170 rapid detection tests, 93 detected
positive cases (0,58% positive rate)

Education
– Primary Education: 196 rapid antigen detection tests, 1 detected
positive case (positivity rate 0,51%)
– Secondary Education: 146 rapid detection tests, no positive detected
incidents (positivity rate 0%)
– Special Schools: 231 rapid antigen detection tests were carried out,
2 positive cases detected (positivity rate 0,87%)
Other
– Nursing homes: 4.610 rapid antigen detection tests were carried out;
47 positive cases detected (positivity rate 1,02%)
– Closed structures: 1.458 rapid antigen detection tests were performed;
4 new cases were detected (positivity rate 0,27%).
