A Yellow Warning for heavy rains and storms was issued yesterday by the Department of Meteorology.

The warning will be in effect from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Wednesday.

Seasonal low pressure affects the area.

Today, locally increased clouds will be observed at times, which in the afternoon and early afternoon are expected to give isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the mountains and inland. In a storm it is possible that hail will fall. Winds will initially be mainly southeast to southwest light, 3 Beaufort, later becoming mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will rise to 39 degrees inland, to 38 on the northern coasts, to 32 on the western coasts, around 34 on the rest of the coasts and to 29 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be increased low cloud at times. Locally, during the morning hours, light mist or fog may form. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast weak, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to 24 degrees in the interior and the coasts and to 21 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Thursday and Friday, the weather will initially be mostly clear, but in the afternoon and early afternoon there will be locally increased cloudiness, which may give isolated rain, without excluding an isolated thunderstorm, mainly in mountainous and inland areas . On Saturday, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be locally increased clouds in the afternoon and early afternoon.

The temperature is not expected to change appreciably until Saturday and will continue to fluctuate slightly above the average climatological values.
