Need for further development of tourism between Cyprus and Israel

At a meeting of PASYXE with the Embassy of Israel, the situation of the pandemic in both countries was discussed, as well as the development of tourism between them.

The need to continue efforts to further exploit the prospects for tourism development between Cyprus and Israel was stressed at a meeting of a PASYXE delegation today with the Ambassador of Israel to Cyprus, Oren Anolik.

According to an announcement by PASYXE, the President of the Association, Haris Loizidis, welcomed the Ambassador of Israel to the Offices of the Association, noting his long history and the close cooperation of PASYXE with the Embassy of Israel.

Afterwards, the epidemiological situation in the two countries was briefed on each other, while views and approaches were exchanged on the whole issue of the pandemic. An exchange of views was also held for further development of the Israeli market, which is the 3rd largest market in Cyprus.

The meeting was also attended by the member of the Board of PASYXE, Thanos Michailidis, and the General Manager of the Association, Filokypros Rousounidis.
