The Ministry of Health announces that for the week of September 16 – 22, 2022:
- 2 deaths were announced
- Relate to:
• Woman, aged 76, who died on 16 September
• Male, aged 70, who died on 19 September
- Total number of deaths with final cause of the disease COVID-19: 1.180.
- 51 patients COVID-19 are hospitalized in OKYPY hospitals
- 1 in serious condition (ICU: 0 out of ventilator / 0 intubated, MAF: 1)
- 4 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be treated intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic examinations:
- A total of 66.616 diagnostic tests were performed
- 2.932 new cases were identified (total of 585.313 cases).
- Position rate in all exams 4,4%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 2.489 molecular tests were performed
- There were 175 positive incidents
- Position rate 7,03%
Total Rapid Test:
- 64.127 rapid antigen detection tests were performed
- There were 2.757 positive incidents
- Position rate 4,3%
Tracking:
– 2 molecular tests were performed and no positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0%)
Private initiative:
- 2.125 molecular tests were performed, 128 positive cases were identified (percentage of positivity 6,02%)
- 46.111 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 2.638 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 5,72%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 18.016 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 119 positive cases were identified.
– Sampling points: 9.979 rapid detection tests detected 89 positive cases (positivity rate 0,89%)
Other
– National Guard: 111 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 4 positive cases identified (3,6% positive rate)
- Nursing homes: 4.834 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 21 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0,43%)
– Closed structures: 3.092 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 5 new cases were detected (positivity rate 0,16%).
