The Ministry of Health issued an announcement about the new cases of the disease COVID-19 for the week of December 2 – 8, 2022.
- 5 deaths were announced
- Relate to:
• A man, aged 94, who passed away on 04/10/2021
• Woman, aged 75, who passed away on 07/10/2021
• A man, aged 64, who passed away on 19/10/2021
• A man, aged 92, who passed away on 30/11/2022
• A man, aged 93, who passed away on 07/12/2022
- Total number of deaths with final cause of the disease COVID-19: 1.242.
- 94 patients COVID-19 are hospitalized in OKYPY hospitals
- 11 in serious condition (ICU: 0 out of ventilator / 3 intubated, MAF: 8)
Diagnostic examinations:
- A total of 70.518 diagnostic tests were performed
- 3.854 new cases were identified (total of 622.102 cases).
- Position rate in all exams 5,47%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 1.907 molecular tests were performed
- There were 190 positive incidents
- Position rate 9,96%
Total Rapid Test:
- 68.611 rapid antigen detection tests were performed
- There were 3.664 positive incidents
- Position rate 5,34%
Private initiative:
- 1.492 molecular tests were performed, 117 positive cases were identified (percentage of positivity 7,84%)
- 45.172 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 3.406 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 7,54%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 23.439 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 258 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 14.844 rapid detection tests detected 172 positive cases (positivity rate 1,16%)
Education
- Primary Education: 127 rapid antigen detection tests, 3 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 2,36%)
- Secondary Education: 638 rapid detection tests detected 4 positive cases (positivity rate 0,63%)
Other
– Nursing homes: 5.304 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 76 positive cases identified (1,43% positive rate)
- Closed structures: 2.526 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 3 new cases were detected (positivity rate 0,12%).
