A. Movements:
1. What time does the travel ban apply?

3. What are the acceptable conditions for SafePass;
A necessary condition for going to specific places is the presentation of one of the following evidences:
- Vaccination certificate with at least one dose and after 3 weeks have elapsed, or
- Proof that a person has contracted the disease COVID-19 the last 6 months, or
- If one of the above does not apply, and as a temporary solution until the vaccination coverage is further advanced, the citizens aged 12 and over are given the option to present a certificate of negative test, PCR or rapid test, valid for 72 hours.
4. In which places is the presentation necessary? SafePass;
People aged 12 and over must have a SafePass and present in case of control by authorized officials, in the following premises / companies:
- Dining areas (restaurants, cafes, bars, snack bars, etc.)
- Places of religious worship
- Indoor theaters, amphitheaters, cinemas and performing arts halls
- Shopping malls and retail stores
- Social events such as weddings, baptisms and funerals
- Gyms, dance schools and other sports schools, according to the guidelines of the Cyprus Sports Organization
- Nursing homes, nursing homes, accommodation facilities for the chronically ill and other closed structures
- Hotels and tourist accommodation
- Conferences, trade fairs
- Casino.
5. In which places the presentation is not required SafePass;
The presentation of SafePass it is not mandatory to go to the following places:
- Outdoor areas of restaurants

- Banks

- Gambling and betting companies

6. Which certificates are accepted as SafePass;
SafePass for negative test result coronavirus (PCR or rapid test) is presented at hardcopy, as given by the sampling point or laboratory or at text message format sent to men's cell phone. B. Social gatherings / events:
8. In which places are gatherings allowed?
Gatherings are allowed in public places, such as parks, squares, dams, picnic areas, beaches, sidewalks, marinas, zoos, etc.
9. Are gatherings allowed in homes?
Home gatherings are allowed with a maximum of 20 people, including minors and permanent residents.
10. Are meals / dinners allowed for weddings and christenings?
Από 1η June to June 14, weddings / dinners, weddings and christenings may be held at restaurants or hotel establishments or other event halls, in accordance with the health protocol, as follows:
- 150 people indoors for lunch or dinner, ή
- 280 people outdoors for lunch or dinner

From June 15 to June 30, weddings / dinners, weddings and christenings may be held at restaurants or hotel establishments or other event halls, in accordance with the health protocol, as follows:
- 250 people indoors for lunch or dinner ή
- 350 people outdoors for lunch or dinner
- A cocktail party with 250 people is allowed at any time only outdoors.
In cases of conduct wedding / christening meals / dinners in homes, proof of marriage / baptism (eg invitation) must be provided, as well as the available square footage of the house, in order to determine the maximum number of attendees according to the relevant protocol. Details should be sent electronically to healthservices@mphs.moh.gov.cy for approval.

C. Ecclesiastics
11. Is church service and other forms of religious worship allowed?
From 1η June, the presence of believers is allowed with a maximum physical presence at 50% of capacity of the place of religious worship. The maximum physical presence of people at 50% of the capacity also applies to the performance of religious ceremonies such as weddings, baptisms and funerals.
A prerequisite for the physical presence of believers in places of religious worship is the presentation of SafePass as described in question 3.
D. Reopening of businesses / premises:
12. Are catering businesses allowed to operate?
From 1η June, allowed the operation of indoor and outdoor spaces of the following categories of catering establishments, on the basis of the relevant protocol:
- restaurants,
- taverns,
- cafes,
- breweries,
- snack bars and pubs,
- cafes
- dining areas within shopping malls, canteens and / or sports clubs, cultural clubs, clubs, associations, etc.

13. Are nightclubs allowed to operate?
The nightclubs are reopening from 10 June, according to the health protocol.

From 1η June, the casino occupancy rate increases to 50% of capacity.

15. Are playgrounds, amusement parks and theme parks allowed to operate?
From 1η June, the operation of playgrounds indoors and outdoors is allowed, in compliance with the protocol that applies to restaurants, without holding events (eg children's birthday parties, etc.).
From June 16 and on the basis of a health protocol, children's parties are allowed in playgrounds, amusement parks and theme parks.

16. Are conferences and trade fairs allowed?
From 1η June, the holding of conferences and trade fairs is allowed, provided that the measure of 50% of the occupancy of the internal space of the conference / exhibition is observed.
The reception / cocktail party is based on the protocol of social events.

17. Is camping allowed?
Reopening of camping sites and other similar landscaped areas is permitted from 16 June.
From June 16, the operation of summer schools and children's camps is also allowed.

18. How do private companies and the public and wider public sector work?
Until June 9, private companies and departments / services of the public and wider public sector, excluding essential services, work with a physical presence of staff not exceeding 50% of the employees.
From June 10, the limitation of the physical presence limit of the employees is lifted.
19. What applies to the field of sports and sports activities?
Regarding the operation of sports facilities, including swimming pools, and sports activities, the guidelines issued by the Cyprus Sports Organization apply.
E. Culture:
20. How will the cultural facilities (theaters, amphitheaters and other performing arts venues) work?

F. Group tutoring and other afternoon activities for children 18 and under:
22. How do group tutoring and sports and social activities work for children aged 18 and under?
From 1η June, all group tutoring for children under 18 is allowed, based on the health protocol.
From 1η June, other social and extracurricular activities are allowed for children under 18 years of age, with a negative 72-hour test result submitted by all persons aged 12 and over. For social and extracurricular activities of children under 18 years old in open spaces, the obligation for mandatory testing on a weekly basis by all persons aged 12 years and over remains.
