With the arrival of the new year, the Ministry of Health will receive additional self tests, which will be available free of charge to the citizens, as there is already a shortage in pharmacies.
Speaking on state radio, the Curator of Clinical Laboratories, Carolina Stylianou, described the response of the people as encouraging and urged the vaccinated citizens to visit the sampling points, so that they can undergo a rapid detection test free of charge.
Ms. Stylianou noted that at least a week should elapse in order to see whether the measure of self-tests helped the controls and at the same time the limitation of the spread of the coronavirus.
