The Fire Brigade was mobilized on Tuesday morning when due to a problem in the electrical panel, sockets were affected in the classrooms of a primary school in Limassol.
In particular, due to the electrical problem, sockets inside the classrooms began to emit smoke and small explosions could be heard.
A Fire Department was called to the scene but did not have to intervene.
Although there was no danger to the children, they were removed from their classrooms due to the strong smell.
