The suspension of the mobilization of workers at Larnaca Buses was announced by the unions SEGDAMELIN-PEO, OMEPEGE-SEK, DEE EMPORIKON DEOK, in view of a meeting with the Director of Labor Relations of the Ministry of Labor.
A joint statement by the unions states that "today's mobilization of striking workers at Larnaca Buses is suspended as a sign of goodwill due to the fact that we have been invited to a meeting at the office of the Director of Labor Relations of the Ministry of Labor."
"Any outcome of the meeting will be transferred to a General Assembly of employees within the day," it added.
Furthermore, in a statement, the Police state that the planned protest event by bus drivers in Nicosia, according to the latest information received from the organizers, has been canceled.
