Extension of the suspension of real estate sales until December 31, announced the Association of Credit Acquisition Companies and Credit Facility Managers.
The decision was taken after consultation with the President of the Republic and the Government, during the last days, it is stated in a statement of the Association.
The suspension extension concerns first homes worth up to 350 thousand euros.
The Association notes that the decision was taken in order to give additional time credit for the completion of the law proposals being prepared by the Ministry of Finance and the Government regarding the legislative framework for the sale of first homes up to €350.000.
The Association hopes for a final settlement of the issue of foreclosures, in order to protect vulnerable and cooperative borrowers, reminding the public at the same time that all the Credit Acquisition Companies, members of the Association, have already declared their interest in participating in the Rent for Installment Plan.
