The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for high temperatures.
The warning will be in effect from 12pm on Monday until 30pm the same day.

Today the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will initially be variable, light 3 Beaufort to become by afternoon mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be somewhat rough. The temperature will rise to 40 degrees in the interior, around 34 on the southern and eastern coasts, around 31 on the rest of the coasts and 30 degrees in the higher mountains.
In the evening the weather will be mostly sunny. Winds will blow northwest to northeast and on the northern coast southeast, weak 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 22 degrees in the interior and the coasts and to 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the weather will be clear and warm.
The temperature will gradually rise to be well above climate averages.
