Larnaca and Paphos airports will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9, as part of the third phase of relaxation of the restrictive measures taken due to the pandemic of coronavirus.

The airports were closed by a decree of the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works for a ban on flights to and from Cyprus, which entered into force at three in the morning on March 21, 2020.

According to information from KYPE, five arrivals and five departures will take place tomorrow from and to Larnaca airport, with the first flight of the Aegean airline departing around eight in the morning bound for Athens.

The first flight to land in Larnaca will also take place from Aegean, coming from Athens and is expected to arrive at around 12.15pm.

The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Giannis Karousos, will go to the airport at around 11 in the morning to receive the first passengers who arrive in Cyprus after the ban on flights to and from the island.

It is noted that flights to and from Tel Aviv, Sofia and Athens are scheduled for tomorrow.
