The vaccination plan is in progress with the aim of protecting the population from the disease COVID-19, as well as mutations in the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Although the pandemic is currently receding, as a result of responsible public cooperation in complying with the measures implemented in the past and responding to the call for vaccination, the relevant Scientific Organizations in the EU and internationally warn that the pandemic will only be effectively treated through vaccinations and calls on states to stay alert and speed up the rate of vaccinations.

In our country, until June 12, 59,3% of the population that can be vaccinated, received 1η dose. also, 40% have completed their vaccination regimen either after the Johnson & Johnson monosodium vaccine or by taking both doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines.

It is reminded that the Vaccination Gate remains open until 5:30 this afternoon for people aged 40 and over. Next, priority for scheduling appointments will be the beneficiaries as follows:

Ages Vaccination Portal Priority Date
18-39 Tuesday, June 15, 7:30 a.m. to Thursday, June 17, 5:30 p.m.
18 years and older Friday, June 18, 7:30 p.m.

It is noted that from Friday, June 18, when the Vaccination Portal will be open to all people aged 18 and over, it will remain open until the appointments that will be available for vaccination in Vaccination Centers that operate nationwide. The intention is to periodically add appointments with the available vaccines to be received.

All citizens are urged to contribute to the huge project that is underway for vaccination as large a percentage of the population as possible, thus shielding the whole of society. Excessive complacency is currently our biggest enemy in the battle we are still fighting against the virus. and may bring about a reversal of the epidemiological picture and a delay in the safe return to normalcy.
