The Police respond to Gionis: No data emerged - New communication today

The Press Spokesman of the Police, Christos Andreou, spoke on the Front Page about the reports of Ilias Gionis for cover-up by the Greek and Cypriot authorities.

Initially he mentioned that since last week they contacted the Greek authorities, but also with Elias Gionis who would send the data last Friday, but until today he did not send us an email.

He added that a new contact will be made today with Ilias Gionis to see his intentions. He stressed that so far there is no involvement of Cypriots in the rape circuit, according to his data the Greek authorities have.

He added that Mr. Gionis did not ask for protection from the Police. "There is no concealment as so far we have no data in our possession," said Mr. Christou.
