The Police are investigating a case of alleged kidnapping of a man residing at the Asylum Seekers Reception Center in Kofinou.
According to the Police, from the examinations so far, it appears that a car carrying three people picked up Syros from the Hospitality Area in Kofinou, after they had previously contacted him by telephone.
The three individuals then took the man to Limassol, where they allegedly beat him and then at around 22:30 p.m. last night, they took him back to Kofinou.
A statement is being taken from the victim and he will then be transferred to the Accident and Emergency Department of Larnaca General Hospital for examinations.
The case is being investigated by the Larnaca Police Department.
