Decisions of the Minister of Labor for special plans July 2021

The Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance announces that the Decisions of the Minister of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance regarding the implementation of the Special Plans for dealing with the effects of the virus were published today in the Official Gazette of the Republic COVID 19, for the period from 1 July 2021 to 31 July 2021.

Specifically, the Decisions concern the following Special Plans:

  1. Special Plan for Hotel Units and Tourist Accommodations (Decision No. 137, Κ.Δ.Π. 329/2021) (Application EEC.9 or EEC.14),
  2. Special Plan of Economic Activities Related to the Tourism Industry or Economic Activities, which are affected by Tourism (Decision No. 138, Κ.Δ.Π. 330/2021) (Application EEC.10 or EEC.11),
  3. Special Plan for Partial Suspension of the Company's Operations (Decision No. 139, Κ.Δ.Π. 331/2021) (ESA Application.4),
  4. Special Unemployment Support Plan (Decision No. 140, Κ.Δ.Π. 332/2021) (ESA application.8) and
  5. Special Plan for Certain Categories of Independent Workers Decision (Decision No. 141, Κ.Δ.Π. 333/2021) (EEC application.5).

It is noted that the applications for the above Plans concern the period from 1η July 2021 until July 31, 2021 will be posted today on the special website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy.

They will also be posted on the special website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy templates of Certified Public Accountant Report that must be submitted electronically together with the corresponding application.

It is emphasized that the deadline for electronic submission of applications for participation in the Special Plans for the period from 1η July 2021 until July 31, 2021 is the midnight of 5th August, 2021.

Interested parties are invited to submit their application in a timely manner as the online applications will not be available for use after the above deadline and any requests for late applications will not be accepted.

It is emphasized that in order for the payment of the Special Allowances to be possible, the appropriate Bank Account Statement mentioned in each application must be submitted, provided that it has not already been submitted and confirmed.

In addition, the Group of Companies, which wish the Group companies engaged in the same economic activity to be considered as a single application for participation of the Group in a Special Plan applicable during the period from 1 July 2021 to 31 July 2021, will must submit a request through the form that will be posted on the website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy for the purpose of granting approval by the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance. The form should be sent, duly completed, to the email address omiloi@mlsi.gov.cy. It is pointed out that in case the Groups of Companies have already secured the approval of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance for the submission of a single application, they do not need to submit a new application.
