In a post on twitter, the Minister of Health, Konstantinos Ioannou, expresses his apologies to all the employees for their suffering for securing the coronavirus molecular test.
Specifically, the Minister of Health states "I would like to personally apologize to all employees, especially in the province of Limassol, who suffered and still suffer today in the effort to ensure the necessary molecular test for travel to and from Limassol and Paphos."
He notes that "a wrong estimate was made regarding the number of tests that were required to be done in the province of Limassol and since last Sunday, actions are being taken to solve the problem".
In his post, the Minister reminds that an extension of one day has been given for the laboratory inspection by the employees, as the traffic inspections will start on Thursday at 05:00 and that tomorrow two more sampling points will be added which will be announced later (total four).
Finally, he assured that the Ministry remains vigilant and continues the effort to provide solutions where and where gaps are identified.
