The Police issued an arrest warrant against a 21-year-old foreigner regarding the case of attempted murder that occurred yesterday, Thursday, January 9, in Kornos, during which a 30-year-old man was injured.
According to the Police, yesterday Thursday January 9, around 2 in the afternoon, a 30-year-old man met in the area of Kornos, with some persons, following a telephone consultation, for the purchase and sale of a car.
Upon his arrival at the pre-arranged area, he was approached by a vehicle, from which four unknown men got out, two of whom appeared to be in possession of a firearm. The 30-year-old started his car to leave the scene and it collided with the suspects' vehicle. During his escape, he received a number of shots and was injured
Despite his serious injury, the 30-year-old managed to go to a private hospital in Limassol on his own, and tests revealed that he has an injury to his hand and right shoulder blade, with his health condition being classified as critical.
Last night an arrest warrant was issued against a 21-year-old foreigner in connection with the case of attempted murder.
