The Chief of Police was found at the scene of the murder committed on Tuesday night with the victim Alexis Mavromichalis.
In his statements he said that a meeting will follow at the TAE Nicosia in collaboration with the TAE Limassol to examine whether there is a connection between the two murders.
Regarding the vehicles, he stated that it is a fact that in Limassol the vehicle was used by the perpetrators and the second one in Nicosia, the service has not yet gone to the scene to see if there is any relevance.
Asked to answer if additional measures will be taken, he replied that there is no information about new bloodshed, the patrols are constantly out for other purposes as well as for criminal purposes.
"The effort will now be focused on solving these two crimes, a cover has already been identified.
He added that the person in question was known to the Police and in the past there was information and precautionary measures were being taken for his safety but not recently.
