The process of submitting applications for participation in the Special Plans has begun

Untitled plan 88 special plans, Ministry of Labour

The Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance announces that they have been posted today on the special website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy the applications for all the Special Plans concerning the period from 1η December 2020 until 31η December 2020.

It is recalled that the Special Plans for which applications are submitted for the above period are as follows:

  1. Special Plan for Hotel Units and Tourist Accommodations (EEC application.9 ή ESA.14),
  2. Special Plan of Economic Activities Related to the Tourism Industry or Economic Activities that are directly affected by Tourism or Tourist Agencies or Economic Activities related to Companies that are under Compulsory Full Suspension or Businesses that are Under Compulsory Suspended EmployeesEEC application.10 ή ESA.11),
  3. Special Plan for Businesses of Certain Economic Activities (EEC application.13),
  4. Special Plan for the Complete Suspension of the Company's Operations (EEC application.3),
  5. Special Unemployment Support Plan (EEC application.8),
  6. Special Plan for Certain Categories of Independent Workers Decision (EEC application.5) and
  7. Special Work Absence Allowance (EEC Application.15). Please note that the application for the Special Work Absence Allowance (EEC Application.15) will be posted within the next few days.

They are also posted on the special website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy models Certified Public Accountant Report which must be submitted electronically together with the corresponding application.

It is emphasized that the deadline submission of applications for participation in the Special Plans for the period from 1 December 2020 to 31 December 2020 is the Friday, 8 January 2021.

Interested parties are invited to submit their application in a timely manner, as online applications will not be available for use after the above deadline and any requests for late applications will not be accepted.

It is emphasized that in order to be able to pay the Special Allowances you must submitted and the appropriate Bank Account Information Statement mentioned in each application, provided that it has not already been submitted and confirmed.

Regarding the participation of Groups of Companies in Special Plans of the Ministry of Labor

The Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance announces that the Group of Companies, which wish the companies of the Group engaged in the same economic activity to be considered as a single application for participation of the Group in Special Plan applicable during the period from 1η December 2020 until 31η December 2020, should submit a request through form posted on the website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy for the purpose of granting approval by the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance. The form should be sent, duly completed, to the email address elphotiou@papd.mof.gov.cy

It is pointed out that in case the Groups of Companies have already secured the approval of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance for the submission of a single application, they do not need to submit a new application.
