It is recalled that lighting a fire without permission within or at a distance of two kilometers from the edges of state forests is an offense which, according to the "Law on Forests 2012", is punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to

It is also a crime to light a fire in rural areas which, according to the "Law on Fire Prevention in the Countryside of 1988", is punishable by up to 5 years in prison or a fine of up to € 20.000 or both.
