Accept LGBT Cyprus expresses its deep disappointment at the refusal of POED to participate in this year's Pride Festival.
In its announcement, the organization states that "the Progressive Movement of Teachers and Kindergarten Teachers suggested the participation of POED in Pride, but the majority of the Board of Directors of POED rejected it".
He adds that "it is not the 1st time that POED refuses to include us in its fold because last year, it refused to raise the colorful flag on its building".
Accept, according to its announcement, "will seek an immediate meeting with POED in order to convince the organization, entertain its concerns and find ways of cooperation for the good of our children."
