No positive cases of coronavirus were detected by the sampling carried out in the community of Trion Elia, in the province of Limassol, where on August XNUMX, a virus-positive, Metropolitan of Morphou, performed the divine service.

The community on Wednesday, after the announcement that the Metropolitan of Morphou Neophytos was positive in the disease Covid-19, requested from the competent Ministry, as a crew is sent today for sampling.

As the community leader Christoforos Ioannidis stated in KYPE, the sampling team arrived in the community around 12:15 and 65 to 66 samples were taken, without any positive cases of coronavirus being detected.

"We were informed that we will have to undergo a sampling test again in a few days," said Mr. Ioannidis and called on everyone to take responsibility for doing so for the safety of all.

At the same time, he noted that those who were in the community on August XNUMX and had any contact with the Metropolitan of Morphou, but left the previous days, should inform the relevant services and perform a coronavirus test.

"Our church that day was full and I estimate that up to 200 people may have received retribution from our Despot," said Mr. Ioannidis.

He stated that the meal that followed was mainly attended by the Metropolitan's entourage as well as relatives of the priest of the community, who, however, does not live in the Three Olives.
