Strict instructions from the Police for today's Super Cup - What the fans should know

The Police, in the context of its cooperation with the public, invites the fans, who will attend today, Tuesday 13.07.21 and at 21:00, in the match for the SUPER CUP, between the teams OMONIA - ANORTHOSI, to always manifest themselves with sportsmanship and respect.
Fans who will watch the match are encouraged to arrive at the stadium in time to avoid any inconvenience. The entrances of the stadium will be open to the public at 19:00.
It is announced that:
CONCORD
OMONIA fans will occupy the east and north stands of the stadium. Therefore, the fans who will enter the stands are urged to head to the stadium coming from the Orphanides lights.

In addition, OMONIA fans are encouraged to use the stadium's north car park, as shown in the attached diagram.
RECTIFICATION
ANORTHOSI fans will occupy the west and south stands of the stadium. Therefore, the fans who will enter the stands are encouraged to head to the stadium coming from the Nicosia - Limassol highway.
In addition, ANORTHOS fans are encouraged to use part of the parking lot south of the stadium, as shown in the attached diagram.

It is emphasized to everyone that:

  • The latest decree of the Ministry of Health regarding the stadiums, states that from 9η July 2021, until 20η July 2021 is allowed to enter football matches, provided that the occupancy does not exceed 50% of the capacity of the stadium. For persons 12 years of age and older, either a negative laboratory test (PCR) is required for the disease. COVID 19 by sampling within 72 hours, either of a vaccination certificate for the disease at least one dose and given that three weeks have elapsed since the date of vaccination, or of evidence of release in the case of persons who have contracted the disease and 6 months have elapsed from the date of sampling of their initial positive diagnosis.

  • It is strictly forbidden to carry flares, crackers and other dangerous objects on the field.
  • It is forbidden to carry banners of political, abusive or other provocative content and clothes with political symbols.
  • It is forbidden to write slogans in the surrounding area, on the walls of the stadium and anywhere else.
  • It is forbidden for fans to enter the stadium, holding shoulder bags and protective helmets of their motorcycles.
  • Climbing on the railings of the stadium is not allowed.
  • Anyone who does not follow the above rules can be expelled from the stadium without notice and without any legal requirements against the stadium authorities even if they hold a legal ticket. He is also in danger of being arrested and fined.
  • Parking of vehicles on the new roundabout of Latsia or on the sidewalks in the surrounding area of ​​the stadium, is prohibited and violators will be reported.

It is pointed out that the Police are in the sports venues to protect the fans. It is also clarified that it will be located in the vicinity of the GSP Stadium to provide traffic facilities to the public, both when they arrive and when they leave.
