The Department of Antiquities, of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that in the context of the Pancyprian Campaign prostate cancer information, which is carried out by the Europa Uomo Cyprus association for the whole month of November, will illuminate with blue color the Castles of Paphos and Larnaca on Friday 5 November 2021.
The main goal of the information month "Blue November", is the raising public awareness of the need for early diagnosis and prevention of prostate cancer, as well as information on available treatment methods. In the context of the social policy implemented by the Department of Antiquities, through the lighting of Ancient Monuments, it is with great pleasure that it participates in the information and awareness actions of "Blue November".
We hope that through the multitude of awareness actions planned by the Europa Uomo Cyprus association, the public will be informed about the disease and a message of support will be sent to all vulnerable groups of the population.
