The Paphos Police proceeded to arrest a 30-year-old woman to facilitate investigations for an ongoing case of residential burglary and theft.
According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, on 20.9.24 at around 21:00 a 40-year-old man reported that his country house in the area of Tremithousa had been broken into and various items had been stolen.
From further tests carried out by the Police, Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE, the entrance of the perpetrator was achieved through the kitchen window which was closed but unsecured.
Evidence was obtained against a woman, aged 30, against whom an arrest warrant was issued. He was arrested on 21.9.24 and taken into custody.
When interrogated, she pleaded guilty and handed over the stolen property.
