A disturbance was caused on the morning of Monday, March 8, in a shopping center in Nicosia, during the Police control for the implementation of the measures against the spread of the pandemic.
A woman who was not wearing a mask refused to wear it when she was pointed out by a police officer. According to the information from the Police, the woman started shouting while at the same time she attacked police officers.
The same information states that the woman was taken to the nearest police station after the incident.
