Seismic activity in Greece is not linked to Cyprus and there is no reason for concern, Christodoulos Hatzigeorgiou, Director of the Geological Survey Department, told CNA.
As he mentioned, the specific phenomenon in Greece "is not directly linked to the seismicity of Cyprus and therefore there is no immediate concern."
He explained that "this comes from the Greek arc, we are in the Cypriot arc, there is no direct connection."
"There is no connection between the phenomenon and Cyprus' seismicity and there is no reason for concern," he concluded.
