As part of the actions taken by the Cyprus Drug Enforcement Agency in collaboration with the Customs Authorities to prevent the importation of drugs into Cyprus, a quantity of cocaine exceeding 8,5 kilograms was identified and seized during the baggage check of a 19-year-old woman, who arrived late yesterday afternoon at Larnaca Airport from a foreign country.
Specifically, 13 packages containing white powder cocaine, with a total gross weight of eight kilograms and 760 grams, were found in the luggage and seized.
The 19-year-old was arrested and taken into custody to facilitate interrogations.
