Burglary tools, assault rifles, a small amount of drugs, but also various items, which may be products of theft, were found in the early hours of the morning in a 31-year-old car in Paphos. To facilitate the investigations, members of the Police proceeded to arrest the 31-year-old, who was taken into custody.
The search of the 31-year-old's vehicle was carried out around 12.40 p.m. today, during a patrol by members of the Paphos TAE. During the search, a small amount of drugs, various burglary tools, two knives and a bat were found inside the vehicle. A large number of valuables were also found and confiscated, such as watches, sunglasses, pens, mobile phones, power tools and a sum of money, for which the 31-year-old did not give sufficient explanations as to how they were found in his possession.
As a result, the 31-year-old was arrested for a self-inflicted crime and placed in custody, to facilitate investigations.
