The case was reported to the Police by a resident of Limassol. According to the complainant, around 10 p.m. On January 25, strangers broke the window of her car, which was parked outside a bakery in Limassol, and stole a bag from it. Inside the bag, as the complainant stated, were her passport, her husband's passport and their registration cards in Cyprus.

In this case, a testimony was obtained against the 36-year-old, on the basis of which an arrest warrant was issued against him.

Around 7.30 p.m. Yesterday, a motorized police patrol located the 36-year-old driving a car on a street in Limassol. Upon locating him, the police signaled him to stop for a check, however he developed speed and tried to escape.

The members of the Police followed the vehicle, driven by the 36-year-old, who after falling into a series of traffic violations, entered a dead end, as a result of which his arrest was made possible.

A search followed in the car where the 36-year-old was riding, in which two passports and two foreigner registration cards were found, which were found to have been reported to the Police, in the previous days, as theft.
