Handcuffs to a homeless person – He took away a copper pipe worth 100 euros

A 34-year-old homeless man detached a copper pipe from an Electricity Authority substation in an apartment building.

According to the Press Spokesperson of the Paphos ADE and Head of the Paphos Crime Investigation Department Michalis Nikolaou, on 13.1.23 at 11:30 a.m. a complaint was made to the TAE Paphos by an employee of a company that deals with internet installation that on the same day he was informed by message about an interruption electricity in an apartment building in Paphos.

He went to the place and it was found that the door of the Electricity Authority in the apartment building in question had been broken and an unknown man was there. When the company employee tried to stop him, he ran away and left various evidence at the scene.

From the Police tests, it was established that he is a 34-year-old man.

Subsequently, the 34-year-old, who is said to be homeless, was arrested and taken into custody. Furthermore, other property was found in his possession which he possessed illegally.

From the station in question, the 34-year-old allegedly took a copper pipe worth 100 euros.
